This was a joint venture with CookieSmart and ProudSpark; We were invited to conceive an idea for a children’s remote for Virgin Media. For the UI we immediately saw the best solution was to go “off-grid” i.e. NO visible time nor channel information. Just images of the children’s favourite characters.

We focussed on an animated and uncluttered design that featured TV characters and their associated jingles. The prototype went down a storm and we have now implemented a beta version for trialling that allows parents to configure their children’s viewing preferences and time allowance.
